Abstract

Este trabajo se realizó en la provincia de Cotopaxi, en el volcán Quilotoa, en cuyo interior se encuentra una laguna, en las coordenadas 78°, 54', 06" W y 00°, 51', 21 "S, a 3980 msnm la parte más alta y a 3 540 msnm el nivel del agua. Esta zona corresponde a un páramo herbáceo.
