Abstract

The present article is based on the analysis of data corresponding to earthquakes generated along the Pacific Ring of Fire using the IRIS (Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology) data base, in the period from 1970 to 2014.It was determined a migration of seismic sources in this region. In addition, this migration occurs clockwise in most areas, except on the Australian and the Pacific plate.
