What do screens show us? Teenagers’ critical view in the context of cultural industries and current thinking

Abstract
The research presents the current media situation where proliferates an enormous amount of screens that make up the identity of the teenager; Moreover, cultural industries conditioned the citizenship look especially for those who have a smaller development of their moral personality. In this regard it highlights the role of the cultural industries that make up the look of the subject; therefore through a descriptive methodology in this work there is checked the literature that refers to this type of situations and allows us to detect the main handicaps. All this leads to the formulation of different questions that revolve around the steps that can be taken to lessen the effects, not always positive, that the multiple emissions exert on the collective adolescent. To this end, it proposes the scope of the critical gaze on the basis of the autonomy understood media such as the ability to empower the receiver to become prosumer that is to say, into active hearing capable of valuing the contents that it receives and of analysing them of autonomous form. The latter is understood as the ability to empower the recipient as a prosumer. They must be able to evaluate and analyze the contents autonomously. Its scope requires lifelong learning and it pursues the development of the six dimensions that make media skill and it need a shift in pedagogy and how it is materialized in the classroom.
